Report a Violation to Revolt

Spotted a malicious user on Revolt? Don’t let it slide! Report their behavior to help keep the platform safe for everyone.

Some users might not have the best intentions. If someone is causing harm to others or violating Revolt’s community standards, it’s crucial to report them to the platform’s moderation team for review. If the violation is confirmed, the user could face anything from a warning to full account suspension.

🧐 What Should I Report?

You should report behavior that is:

  • Dangerous to the community: spam, scams, illegal content, etc.
  • Directly targeting users: harassment, threats, doxxing, hate speech

For lighter infractions, consider blocking the user or using server-level moderation tools like timeout, warn, kick, or ban. If you’re not a moderator, notify your server’s staff team they’re empowered to take faster action within the community.

To report a user on Revolt, head to the Contact Page or use the official platform report method by right clicking on the message or at their profile.

  • Describe the situation in detail, including usernames, server name, and the impact of the behavior
  • Remain polite and specific—it helps moderators take action faster
